The host Swanton Bulldogs placed third in the girls meet and fourth on the boys side at the Northwest Ohio Athletic League Junior High Track Meet on Saturday.
Archbold came away as the girls champions and Bryan won the championship for the boys. The Swanton girls finished third with 86.5 points and the boys were fourth with 73 points.
Swanton’s Trista Eitniear finished second in shot put and was the champion in discus with a new NWOAL record throw of 107 feet, 8 inches. Frankie Nelson took fourth in discus and sixth in the high jump.
Brooke Dockery was the 800m champion with a time of 2:35.04.
Clarissa Smith was third in pole vault while Natalie Borell took seventh. Audrey Szalapski was third in long jump. Ava Bond placed sixth in long jump and seventh in the 200m hurdles.
Megan Haselman was fifth in the 100m. Jayden Hendricks was third in the 400m, sixth in the 100m and sixth in the 200m. The 4x200m relay of Lilly Alfsen, Alaina Pelland, Macy Pawlowicz, and Haselman was third. The 4x400m relay of Szalapski, Pawlowicz, Pelland and Dockery placed second.
On the boys side, Bryce Marvin was the NWOAL champion in discus (123’6”) and shot put (41’4.75”).
Garrett Swank was the pole vault champion at 9 feet. He also placed sixth in the 200m. Hunter Gowing finished fourth in pole vault.
Lathan Pawlowicz was fifth in the long jump and third in the 100m. Kayden Davis was third in the high jump. Austyn Gossett was sixth in the discus.
Kamon Molina was sixth in the 100m hurdles and seventh in the 200m hurdles. Reese Oberheim was eighth in 200m hurdles. The 4x100m relay team of Blaize Garncarz, Swank, Gavin Parker, and Pawlowicz finished third.
