Three Swanton Biddy wrestlers will be competing for a state title at the 2018 Ohio Athletic Committee Grade School State Championships.

In Division I, Dalton Cook advanced at 40 pounds for the Bulldogs. In Division II, heavyweights Dominic Cook and Evan Smigelski advanced.

These wrestlers competed in multiple OAC District Tournaments throughout the season, and placed in the top four for their division and weight class, in order to advance to the state tournament.

The 15th annual Grade School State Championship will take place March 24-25 at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. The team will be leaving for Youngstown on Friday, March 23 at 12 p.m. They will be escorted out of town by the Swanton Police & Fire Departments.

Anyone wishing to cheer the boys on can line up along Main Street for their farewell. Fans can watch the tournament online at www.flowrestling.org.
