Basketball players awarded by coach Visser

Swanton boys basketball first-year head coach Joel Visser knew right from the start he wanted to push the kids to greatness. He offered an incentive program his first time meeting the boys and several bought in. For those willing to show up 80 percent of the time or more during the summer sessions, he would award them with an “ALL IN” dinner and t-shirt. Many of the sessions were 8-9:30 a.m., and included a lot of strength and speed training. Pictured are the winners of that incentive. Front row, from left: Blaine Pawlowicz, Josh Vance, Nathan Hall, Trent Weigel, Dylan Gilsdorf and Brady Lemons. Back row: Andrew Thornton, Carter Swank, coach Visser, Reece Pawlowicz, Zaven Waddell, Randy Slink and Jake Crow.
