Swanton football honored by Northwest Ohio Athletic League

Swanton’s Michael Lawniczak made second team All-NWOAL offense from his running back position. He was also second team all-league defense as a linebacker.

Swanton players frequented the NWOAL all-league football list that was released over the weekend.

On the All-NWOAL first team offense for the league runner-up Bulldogs were wide receiver Gunnar Oakes and tackle Zach Dziengelewski.

First team All-NWOAL defense for Swanton were Oakes, fellow defensive back Jonathan Shanks, defensive end Lukas Reiner, and interior lineman Aaron Hazlett. Additionally, kicker Nick Koback received first team honors as a specialist.
