Swanton moved up two spots in the second edition of the Associated Press high school football poll.

The Bulldogs (4-0), who opened NWOAL competition with a 42-14 win over Archbold last Friday, are ranked eighth in Division V. They were 10th in the first poll which came out last week.

Defending state champion and perennial power Coldwater is ranked first.

In the area, Patrick Henry is ranked third in Division VI, earning three first place votes. Liberty Center dropped down to seventh after being defeated by the Patriots Friday night.

Additionally, the OHSAA released their first set of computer ratings on Tuesday. Swanton is third in Division V, Region 18.
