The Swanton girls soccer team remained unbeaten in Northwest Ohio Athletic League play with a 1-0 victory over Delta on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

Following a scoreless first half, Payton Detray broke the deadlock with a goal. It was ultimately enough for the Bulldogs to pick up their first league win of the young season.

Swanton improved to 2-2-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the NWOAL. They are tied with Archbold in the league, while Evergreen is 1-0.

Swanton hosts Eastwood Saturday at 11 a.m. The Bulldogs will be at Genoa on Tuesday before traveling to Lake next Saturday.

Delta dropped to 0-2 in the league and 2-2 overall on Thursday with a 2-1 loss to Bryan.

Delta’s next game will be Saturday, Sept. 10 at Northwood.
