BOWLING GREEN — The Swanton golf team took eighth out of 20 teams at the Central Cathlolic Irish Invitational held Friday at Stone Ridge.
The team from Anthony Wayne secured the title with a 284 team total.
Swanton posted a score of 346. At the forefront was Ryan O’Shea with an 81. Mazin Rukieh was next with an 85, while both Adam Lemon and Lucas Bloom shot a 90.
Wauseon’s team shot a 383. Jackson Gleckler led the Indians with an 80, Mykale Schneider shot a 96, Carter Stuckey 103 and Zach Puehler 104.
Pettisville finished behind Wauseon, shooting a 386. Jack Leppelmeier carded an 86, Creighton Aeschliman 91, Blayn Meck 103 and Sam Myers 106.
