A bevy of local girls were recognized in Division III when the District 7 basketball teams were revealed last month.
Being named to the all-district first team were Bekah Bowser of Evergreen and Marisa Seiler of Wauseon. Dan Seiler of Wauseon was named District 7 Coach of the Year in Division III.
Second team All-District 7 in the area were Addi Ziegler of Archbold and Frankie Nelson of Swanton.
Honorable mention all-district went to Archbold’s Leah McQuade; Sophia Burres, Alani Haas, and Khloe Weber of Delta; Macy Chamberlin and Addison Ricker of Evergreen; Swanton’s Alaina Pelland; and Kadence Carroll, Hayley Meyer, Autumn Pelok, and Ellie Rodriguez of Wauseon.
In Division IV, Pettisville’s Ellie Grieser was named honorable mention all-district.
