Coach Bruce Smith led the Bulldogs to a 20-2 record and outright NWOAL title in his first season as Swanton head coach.

Swanton finished out an undefeated Northwest Ohio Athletic League schedule on Friday, topping Bryan 56-31 in the regular season finale at Kevin McQuade Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs led 16-11 after the first quarter, but blew the game open in the middle two periods. They outscored Bryan 15-4 in the second quarter and 15-6 in the third quarter.
Swanton is now 20-2 overall with a 7-0 NWOAL mark.
Nic Borojevich led the Bulldogs with 20 points, while Lathan Pawlowicz added 11 and Cole Mitchey and Kayden Davis each scored 9.
