Fulton County saw many players honored when the 2021 All-Northwest District football teams were announced last week.

In Division IV, making first team all-district offense was Wauseon receiver Jonas Tester. Defensively for the Indians, lineman Matthew Shaw made the first team along with defensive back Jude Armstrong.

Second team all-district offense for Wauseon were quarterback Elijah McLeod, receiver Sam Smith, and lineman Kyle Moore.

The Indians’ Logan Carroll and Bryson Stump got honorable mention all-district.

Swanton had a pair recognized in Division V.

Cole Mitchey was a second team all-district punter, while Bryce Marvin received honorable mention all-district for the Bulldogs.

Archbold quarterback DJ Newman was tabbed as Co-Offensive Player of the Year in Division VI with Colonel Crawford running back Lincoln Mollenkompf. Also, Archbold’s David Dominique shared coach of the year honors with two others.

First team all-district offense for the Blue Streaks were receiver Gavin Bailey and lineman Hayden Dickman. On defense for the Streaks, lineman Devon Morris and linebacker Cayden Alvarado made the all-district first team.

Second team all-district offense went to Archbold running back Carson Dominique and lineman Brian Burrowes. Defensive back Karter Behnfeldt made the second team as well.

Honorable mention all-district for Archbold were Krayton Kern and Jack Hurst.

For Delta, lineman Zane Shindorf was chosen second team all-district offense and linebacker Josh Tresnan-Reighard was second team all-district defense.
