Swanton outscored Liberty Center 11-2 after the midway point of the third inning en route to an 11-7 Northwest Ohio Athletic League softball victory over the Tigers on Thursday.
The Bulldogs then split a doublheader with Edgerton on Saturday. There, they fell 5-3 in game one but bounced back with a 1-0 win in the second game.
In the game Thursday, Averie Lutz paced the Swanton offense by going 3 for 4 with an RBI. Brie Williams picked up the win in the circle versus the Tigers.
She also won the second game against Edgerton to give herself a 7-1 record, along with driving in the game-winning run.
Swanton (12-2, 3-1) welcomed Wauseon Monday and hosts Oak Harbor on Tuesday.
