DEFIANCE – Swanton bowling took care of Tinora in a match held Monday, Jan. 27 in Defiance.

The Bulldog boys defeated the Rams 2,242-2,151 and the girls won 1,959-1,586.

For the boys, Riley Blankenship led the way with a 395 series total. Marty Mosher was next with a 386 and Alexander Hicks 360.

The Swanton girls got a 402 series from Kylie Ulch. Amy Lawson chipped in with a 344 and Ivy Serres 275.

Swanton then split a home match against Bryan on Friday. The boys were victorious 2,257-2,195, while the girls dropped a 2,494-2,206 decision.

Blankenship registered a 417 for the boys, Brandon Chovan 335 and Hicks 329. The girls were led by Ulch with a 370, Hanna Patch 355 and Lawson 342.
