Dogs roll past Vikings in bowling

The Swanton bowling team swept Evergreen Friday in a match at Swanton Sports Center.

The boys defeated the Vikings 2,189-2,006, while the girls won 2,013-1,810.

Leading the Swanton boys was Alexander Hicks with a 385 series. Riley Blankenship added a 344 and Brandon Chovan 343.

Ayden DeGroff rolled a 388 for the Evergreen boys.

On the girls side, Swanton got a 382 series from Amy Lawson. Hanna Patch chipped in with a 346 and Ivy Serres 330.

Michaela Baker rolled a 299 series for Evergreen.

Swanton split their match with Delta on Monday, Jan. 13. The Panthers took the boys match 2,133-2,098, while the Bulldog girls were victorious 2,019-1,813.

For the Delta boys, Cory Waugh finished with a 370 series, Gabe Syverson 339 and Walker Sniegowski 323.

Blankenship led all bowlers with a 418 series. Aaron Futch chipped in a 342 for the Dogs and Hicks 308.

The Swanton girls got a 371 from Lawson. Serres rolled a 360 and Kylie Ulch 352.
