Swanton welcomed in Archbold, Bryan and Wauseon for an NWOAL wrestling quad on Thursday, but the Bulldogs went home empty-handed.
The Bulldogs were defeated by both Wauseon and Archbold, while the Indians and Blue Streaks finished 2-0.
J.D. Reisinger represented the Dogs well at 126 pounds, winning 9-3 over Wauseon’s Mauricio Barajas and pinning Zach Rocha of Archbold.
Also against Archbold, Ethan Branum (113), Greg Wilson (195) and heavyweight Tommy Lytle had pins for Swanton. Noah Saunders (138) added a 5-3 decision while Zack Leahey (145) won by major decision.
