Lourdes University track coach David Espinoza has announced that Swanton’s Heather Williams has signed a letter of intent to join the Gray Wolves’ inaugural track and field team beginning in the fall of 2016.

Williams posted marks of 33-7 in the shot put and 96-3 in the discus as a junior at Swanton High School. She also competes in power lifting events.

“Heather is a very good all-around athlete,” Espinoza stated. “I am excited to have her join our inaugural women’s track and field team.”

A multi-sport athlete, Williams has been a four-year letter winner in volleyball for the Bulldogs as well, where she was a second team All-NWOAL selection.

Upon her arrival at Lourdes, Williams intends to study marketing.
