Swanton girls basketball hosted Holgate last Tuesday, defeating the Tigers 47-36.
“(We) did a better job (in) the second half of rebounding,” said Swanton coach Eric Oakes on the win. “We were giving Holgate a lot of second chances in the first half that also led to some foul trouble.”
Kyleigh Ramlow notched 17 points to pace the Bulldogs, Haley Nelson 12 and Cydney Christensen 10. Sarah Niese led Holgate with 18.
Swanton returns to action tonight when they host Evergreen in non-league action.
