The Northwest Ohio Athletic League recently announced their all-league football teams, with Swanton receiving some first team recognition.

Defensively, interior lineman Brendan Keith was chosen first team All-NWOAL. Place-kicker Riley Hensley made the first team as a specialist for the Bulldogs.

Swanton’s Josh Vance was second team all-league offense from his wide receiver position. Second team all-league defense for Swanton were defensive back Devon Crouse and linebacker Xavier Wiemken. Crouse was also second team all-league as a specialist.

For Evergreen, guard Jake Fuller was first team all-league offense while linebacker Nick Beemer was first team all-league defense.

Tackle Will Smithmyer was second team all-league offense for the Vikings. Defensive end Logan York also received second team honors.

Bryan quarterback Nate Miller was named offensive player of the year for the second straight season. Selected defensive player of the year was Patrick Henry interior lineman TJ Rhamy. Coach of the year honors went to Casey Mohler of Liberty Center.
