Swanton wide receiver Gunnar Oakes makes a nice catch with defenders draped all over him against Waynedale in a playoff game. Oakes was special mention All-Ohio on offense.

The state released their All-Ohio football teams for Divisions I-VII last week. For Swanton, six players received all-state honors in Division V.

Quarterback Bryce McComb was named second team All-Ohio. Also on offense, Gunnar Oakes was special mention All-Ohio as a receiver while Dean Sego was special mention from his offensive guard position.

On defense for the Bulldogs, Robbie Gilsdorf made second team All-Ohio as a defensive back while JD Reisinger was special mention on the defensive line.

And, for the second year in a row, Swanton placekicker Nick Koback was named special mention All-Ohio.
