A Delta woman was recently sentenced by Judge Jeffrey Robinson in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, according to Prosecutor Scott Haselman.
Christine Leffler, 40, previously pleaded guilty to grand theft. Between Aug. 6, 2017, and Jan. 7, 2018, she stole unemployment benefits totaling more than $7,500 but less than $150,000.
She was sentenced to four years of community control, and ordered to: pay prosecution costs; pay $12,351 restitution to the Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services; obtain her GED; successfully complete the court’s Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program and five sessions of the “On Track” program; and serve seven days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
Failure to comply could result in 11 months in prison.
