Spooky fun for kids slated at SPL

Anyone in grades 6-12 is invited to show up anytime between 4- 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, and celebrate the scariest day of the year.

There will be a treasure hunt, games, pumpkin carving, a doughnut eating contest, videos (including episodes of The Twilight Zone), and, of course, plenty of candy.

Costumes welcome. No registration is necessary for the free event.

Children in grades K-5 are invited to come to the library at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 to celebrate things that go bump in the night with spooky stories, ghostly games, and a creepy craft.

Come dressed in costume if you can.

Register for this free program by visiting the library, calling 419-826-2760, or signing up online at http://www.swantonpubliclibrary.org.
