The Columbus division of Kroger announced on Friday a partnership with Instacart to offer delivery to customers in Northwest Ohio.
“As part of Restock Kroger, we are investing in redefining our customers’ grocery shopping experience by bringing online and offline seamlessly together,” said Dan De La Rosa, Kroger Columbus division president. “Having grown our digital sales in 2017 by 90 percent, we continue to accelerate our digital roadmap in 2018 to make shopping with Kroger simpler and more personalized.
“Kroger’s new Instacart partnership provides us with the opportunity to offer our customers delivery and when you combine this service with our successful curbside program, it will help us accelerate our ecommerce reach significantly.”
Kroger now offers delivery and curbside pickup from 15 stores across Northwest Ohio and will add 4 new curbside pickup location by the end of year. The Swanton Kroger is one of the stores included in the Instacart process, along with Maumee, Waterville, Holland, Sylvania and Toledo stores.
