Northwest State Community College near Archbold, and Penta Career Center, near Perrysburg, have formed a partnership to provide two high demand career training programs – Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operations Certificate program and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Truck Driving training to be offered at Penta’s facility at 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township. This partnership will enable the two institutions to efficiently address the shortage of skilled workers in both of these occupations.
In addition to the Archbold location, Northwest State Community College is a partner with the University of Toledo and provides Workforce Development training at the University of Toledo Scott Park campus. The Scott Park campus includes the new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center which will open Jan. 11, 2016.
