Swanton woman sentenced for drugs


A Swanton woman was sentenced July 25 in Fulton County Common Pleas Court for cocaine possession.

Elizabeth Norman, 52, had pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing cocaine.

Judge Jeffrey Robinson sentenced her to three years of community control, and ordered her to: pay prosecution costs; stay out of bars; not possess or consume alcohol; have random weekly drug screens, successfully complete treatment and recommended aftercare at Maumee Valley Guidance Center; successfully complete treatment and recommended aftercare with Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio.

Failure to comply could result in 11 months in prison.
