The 160th Lucas County Fair kicks off today at the fairgrounds on Key Street in Maumee and runs through Sunday.
Admission is $6 with those 12 years old and younger free. There is however, free gate admission on Tuesday and Wednesday. Parking is $5 per vehicle. There is also an additional fee for rides.
The opening ceremony is planned for Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the entertainment tent.
Entertainment for the week includes Black Swamp Rebels on Saturday, Kentucky Chrome on Friday, Sugar Pax on Thursday an Johnny Rodriguez on Wednesday. There will also be a rodeo, firefighter shows, Buckeye State Pedal Pullers, and Ultimate Air Dog Shows.
The fair will also feture the usual animal shows and other contests.
