Events for kids at SPL this week


There is a lot for kids to do this week at the Swanton Public Library. This week:

• All ages can sign up for the summer reading challenge beginning Monday, June 11.;

• All ages can enjoy ice cream at the “Ice Cream Rocks!” Party on Monday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m. Build-your-own-ice-cream-sundae bar, stories, games, and more! Kids and teens can also sign up for the reading programs. No need to register – just show up and have fun!

• Toddlers ages 6 months to 2 years with an attending adult can have fun with “Rhyme Time” on Tuesday, June 12, at 10:30 a.m.

• Children ages 3-5 can hear travel sounds in “Beep Beep!” on Tuesday, June 12, at 10:30 a.m.

• Children who just completed grades 3, 4, and 5 can make “Animal Discoveries!” with ECO Discovery! on Wednesday, June 13, at 10:30 a.m.

• Children who just completed grades K, 1, and 2 can hear “Animal Noises” with ECO Discovery! on Thursday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m.

• Teens who just completed grades 6-12 are invited to have popcorn and vote on a movie to watch during the “Movie Afternoon” on Thursday, June 14, at 3:30 p.m.
