The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office issued nine citations during High Visibility Traffic Blitzes conducted Sept. 18-24 and Sept. 25-27. Sheriff Roy Miller reported eight citations issued for speed violations and one for reckless operation on private property. Deputies also issued 32 warnings to motorists.
A traffic enforcement blitz, designated the “Homecoming Blitz,” will be conducted Oct. 2-4 and Oct. 9-11 at various times in various locations around the county in conjunction with homecoming activities in Wauseon, Delta, Archbold, and Swanton. Deputies will look for impaired drivers and associated violations.
The blitzes are funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
