There are a wealth of programs available for adults at the Swanton Public Library over the next month.
Join in for another make and take cardmaking class led by Anna Geis on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This month students will make encouragement cards.
Children over the age of eight, accompanied by an adult, are welcome to attend as well. The supply fee is $5 for three cards. Stop in at the library to look at samples or to register. Registration is also available online at www.swantonpubliclibrary.org/node/240 or by phone, 419-826-2760.
What’s a scrapbooking crop? Its friends, old and new, gathering to work on scrapbooks together.
Crops are a modern day twist on the old time quilting bee, with opportunities for social interaction and artistic collaboration. Cardmaking instructor Anna Geis will host a crop at the library on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Registration is required. The event is free and limited to 10 participants. Bring your lunch and your own supplies; tools such as cutters and punches will be provided.
Yoga Classes Expand

Beginning Yoga will be held Monday mornings, Sept. 14, 21 and 28, from 10:15-11:30. There will be no yoga class on Labor Day. This class will be slightly more advanced than the Thursday class, offering students an opportunity to expand their skill level. Class fee is $10 per session with multi-session tickets available. Students are asked to bring a yoga mat and towel and to wear comfortable clothing.
