Swanton High School students tour federal courthouse

Swanton High accounting students were invited through the FBI Bureau in Toledo to be given a tour of the federal courthouse in Toledo. They were provided time to meet and speak with FBI Special Agents, a United States Attorney, and The Honorable Judge Jack Zouhary on the role that accounting plays in their respective careers.

Students were given an excellent opportunity to see accounting within the legal system and federal law enforcement; and the career opportunities that are linked to it.

Swanton Accounting is a program enrolled through Tech Prep of Northwest Ohio and The University of Toledo, and is funded through the Penta Career Center. Students are receiving college accounting credits through their high school course work.
