The Village of Swanton now offers an ACH payment option for automatic payments of the monthly water bills. To sign up, complete the ACH Direct Payment Authorization Form and submit it to the Village Office along with a voided check or a copy of your account card.
Forms can be found on our website at www.villageofswantonohio.us/waterdept.html. Customers who are signed up for ACH payments will continue to receive a monthly bill in the mail to inform them of water consumption and amount due.
The deduction from the bank account will take place on the 15th of the month the bill is due. If the 15th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or observed holiday, your payment will be taken out on the following business day.
Village officials ask that utility customers allow up to 30 days from when the authorization form is received for electronic payment to start. Customers should continue to mail in payment by the due date until they see “Do Not Pay – Thank You for using direct payment” stamped on the bill.
