Rotary honors Mowry, Herr

Carissa Mowry and Deanna Herr were named the Swanton Rotary Club’s Senior Students of the Month for March. Mowry and Herr honored Josh Eppert and Pam Kazmierczak (retired) as the teachers they found to be the most inspirational and influential during their educational careers. Both students gave the club members brief bios about themselves, their families, involvement in school, and future plans. Each, along with their parents and teacher honorees were guests for lunch at the Swanton Rotary Club’s weekly meeting at the Swanton Community Center. At the conclusion of the school year, the Rotary Club will honor one teacher/educator from those acknowledged by the students throughout the course of the year with the “golden apple award.”
