Air National Guard Unit to dedicate F-16s to local communities

The 180th Fighter Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, will dedicate F-16 fighter jets to local communities during a special ceremony on Sunday. The all-day event will recognize 16 communities by permanently placing the community’s name on an F-16 fighter jet.

The day will start at 8:30 a.m. with a ceremony for the Village of Swanton. Other communities recognized include Wauseon, Holland, Maumee, Perrysburg, Rossford, Delta, Haskins, Bowling Green, Oregon, Sylvania, Toledo, Whitehouse, Monclova Township, Waterville and Ottawa Hills.
