Located on Main Street next to All Spray their arrangements are one of a kind, handmade per order and the majority of the gifts are made by local artists. What started as a dream and a small home based business has become a reality, thanks to all that have supported owner Amanda Rardin on her journey.

Amanda started Lily Lane Floral, Gifts and More (formally Mandi The Happy Crafter) from her home as a handmade home decor business, in addition to offering a variety of painting/DIY classes. That small home based business has now grown into a floral and gift shop that additionally offers paint parties and DIY classes. The classes are offered as a sign up/walk in class as well as private events. She has the ability to bring painting supplies and or craft supplies to a location of the customer’s choice or host private parties at her store.

“I was Swanton High School Class of 2006 and decided that I would like to be back in Swanton, not only as a business owner, but also as a future resident,” said Rardin. “I have always loved the close knit community and felt it would be a great place to start a business and one day raise a family.”

Rardin offers complete floral services for weddings, funerals and special events with all arrangements being one of a kind custom per order. She offers delivery to the Swanton, Delta, Holland, Whitehouse, and Waterville areas as well as parts of Toledo. Due to the fact Rardin is the only person working at the store, delivery times will vary based on the day, but she will do her best to accommodate everyone.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lily Lane is closed on Sunday but will take calls for last minute orders.

Lily Lane was made possible not only through Rardin’s hard work and dedication, but also through an outpouring of support from friends, family and the community through her GoFundMe page. At this point all the money raised will go toward getting a delivery vehicle and possible operating costs.
