Board of Library Teens meet at 4:45 p.m. at Swanton Public Library. Late Arrivals are fine, just show up before 5:30 p.m.

Swanton Board of Education will meet at the board office, 108 N. Main St. Organizational meeting begins at 7 p.m. with the regular meeting to follow. The public is welcome.

Thursday, Jan. 5

Free Dinner for All, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 Dodge St., Swanton. Serving in the church hall from 5-6:30 p.m. Meal includes shredded chicken sandwiches, baked beans, hot vegetable, macaroni salad, various desserts, punch and coffee. Kim Floyd and Jenni Nijakowski are hosting the January meal.

Weekly/Monthly Event

Growing through Grief Bereavement Group will meet the fourth Tuesday of every month from 3:30-5 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 N. Main St., Swanton. Conducted by licensed bereavement counselors, the sessions are free and open to anyone in the community who is interested in attending. Pre-registration is required.
