Furko crowned Strawberry Festival Queen


Recent Swanton graduate Jordan Furko was crowned Strawberry Festival Queen on Thursday in Holland. Furko receives a $1,000 scholarship for winning the honor. She competed in business wear, evening wear and had to answer a question. Her question: If she could do anything for a day with no rules, what would she do? Her answer: She would go to the White House and spend the day and be in all the areas not normally allowed. Furko will be attending Defiance College in the fall, double majoring in forensic science and criminal justice with a minor in digital forensic science.
