SPL announces this week’s programs


There are multiple programs planned for kids this week at the Swanton Public Library. They include:

• Fish and Coral Reef Storytime: Preschoolers are invited to an in-person storytime with fish stickers, coral reef art, and more on Tuesday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m.

• Youth Chess Club: Kids and teens are invited to join librarian and chess player Jason on Tuesday, June 21 at 4 p.m., to learn more about the game. Youth Chess Club is open to all interested youth.

• Pride Book Club: Teens in grades 5-12 are invited to a pride book discussion on Wednesday, June 22 at 4 p.m. Join in to discuss the grades 9-12 book club choice, “The Girl from the Sea,” and talk about your favorite Pride reads.

• Virtual Aquarium with the Cleveland Aquarium: All ages and families are invited to a virtual visit to the Cleveland Aquarium on Thursday, June 23, at 4 .pm. Watch and learn about sharks, stingrays, and other sea creatures on our screen.

· Coding Club: Coders will meet at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 24.
