The Kroger store on Airport Highway in Swanton recently moved up its closing time from 11 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Swanton location is among several in the Toledo area now closing at 10 p.m., including the Holland location, the Monroe Street location in Sylvania and multiple in Toledo.
The Waterville and Maumee locations as well as the store on Sylvania Avenue at King Road remain open until 11 p.m. throughout the week.
“As America’s grocer, we are here for our customers and communities when they need us most. To better serve our customers and balance the needs of our associates we have adjusted closing hours recently at many locations,” said Amy McCormick, corporate affairs manager for Kroger. “In Swanton and Holland, the stores close at 10 p.m. Tailoring closing hours helps our associates be more efficient in the stocking process and improves the associate and customer experience.”
