The Swanton Public Library has planned Valentine’s Day fun for kids this month.
Teens in grades 5-12 are invited to come to the Swanton Public Library from 4-5:15 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14, for a Valentine’s Day party that’s all about celebrating friendship instead of romance – and sweets!
They’ll have cookies to decorate, candy to eat, and silly games to play. Only talking about fictional relationships is allowed. Everyone is welcome, single or not. Registration is not required for the free event.
Children in grades K-5 and their families are invited to come celebrate Valentine’s Day early. Come to the library anytime between 4 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
You’ll make Valentine’s Day cards to give out the next week, decorate cookies, and celebrate with some sweet treats.
For more information or to register for the K-5 program, visit the library’s youth website at https://www.splyouth.org/, or call the library at 419-826-2760.
