Next week is busy at SPL


Next week at Swanton Public Library:

• All ages can enjoy ice cream at the “On Your Mark, Get Set, Ice Cream!” Party on Monday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m. Make-your-own-ice-cream-sundae bar, stories, games, and more. Kids and teens can also sign up for the reading programs. No need to register – just show up and have fun.

• Toddlers ages 6 months to 2 years with an attending adult can move in “1-2-3 Movement!” on Tuesday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m.

• Children ages 3-5 can visit “Sports Courts” on Tuesday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m.

• Children ages 4 up through second grade can attend the “Incredible Years Prevention Program” or Dinosaur School at 11:15 a.m on Tuesday, June 7. This is a program that builds social skills through fun and learning put on by Four County Family Center, beginning on June 7.

• Children who just completed grades 3, 4, and 5 can compete in the “Library Olympics” on Wednesday, June 8, at 10:30 a.m. Don’t wear nice clothes!

• Children who just completed grades K, 1, and 2 can compete in “Record Breakers” on Thursday, June 9, at 10:30 a.m. Don’t wear nice clothes!
