The Lucas County Health Department has provided area residents with information regarding Phase 1B of the COVID-19 vaccine. As of Jan. 19, only Ohioans 80+ years of age are eligible to receive the vaccine.
There are several locations throughout the county where vaccines will be available. They include area hospitals, Kroger pharmacies, and Health Partners of Western Ohio.
The closest hospitals in Lucas County include McLaren St. Luke’s, St.Anne’s, Flower, and Toledo Hospital. The Kroger locations in Lucas County include Waterville and Holland.

Individuals should schedule only their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.
Individuals are asked to bring a form of identification and insurance card. Some providers may bill medical insurance for individuals that have medical insurance, however individuals do not need to have insurance to receive the vaccine. There is no cost to the individual regardless of insurance coverage.
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance of the appointment time.
Only individuals that live or work in Lucas County and are 80 years of age or older are eligible to receive the vaccine through Lucas County at this time. Appointments for individuals that do not meet current eligibility criteria will be canceled.
