The deadline to register to vote in the March 15 primary election is near. The last day to register is Feb. 16.
There are a number of places individuals can register to vote or update their voter registration. Residents can go to the board of elections office, county treasurer’s office, bureau of motor vehicles, local high school, and local libraries.
Also, voter registration can be updated at www.myohiovote.com. This can only be used by individuals who are already registered within the state of Ohio.
Individuals needing to register for the first time, will need to complete the paper registration form and return it to the board of elections office in Fulton County by 9 p.m. on Feb. 16, said Melanie J. Gilders, Fulton County Board of Elections director.
The Fulton County Board of Elections office is located at 135 Courthouse Plaza in Wauseon.
