Swanton has at least one confirmed case of COVID-19, according to the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department.
The health department on Tuesday began releasing maps with cases separated by zip code. In the most recent map on Sunday, the Swanton zip code, 43558, was in the range of 1-10 COVID-19 cases.
Monclova, Whitehouse, Waterville, and Maumee were also in the 1-10 range. Sylvania and Holland have 11-20 cases, while the West Toledo 43615 zip code had the most with 41-50 on Sunday.
Berkey and Grand Rapids have no confirmed cases in Lucas County.
In addition to the map, Toledo-Lucas County Health Department Commissioner Eric Zgodzinski announced the creation of an online form for Lucas County residents to report suspected symptoms of COVID-19.
The form, which was created through a partnership between the health department and the University of Toledo, can be found at: toledolucascountyhealthdepartment.formstack.com/forms/covid19_tracking_form.
In Sunday’s update from the health department, 297 total cases were reported in Lucas County with nine deaths. The three deaths reported Sunday were males in their 60s.
A number of first responders in the county are in quarantine or isolation. In total, 31 are in quarantine and 39 in isolation.
From the Lucas County Sheriff’s Department, there are 13 in isolation and two in quarantine. Springfield Township Fire, which covers Swanton Township, had one in isolation.
As of Sunday, Fulton County had five confirmed cases, with two hospitalizations, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
