Area students graduate, earn honors

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State University has issued its honor roll for autumn 2015, listing the names of students who have achieved high academic averages for their work. (Criteria for qualifying varies by college. It is usually based on the GPA for that specific term and the number of credit hours taken. Many colleges require a minimum of 12 graded credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher.)

An asterisk after a name indicates a perfect 4.0 academic performance.

Area students with honors were:

Delta: Carra Gibson, Mary Imre, Lauren Jones, Todd Miller, Ellen Warfield, Keegan Scott*, Ramiro Zamora.

Metamora: Haley Beroske, Jacob Dowling, Danielle Lyons, Logan Patek.

Swanton: Matthew Kusz, Emily Miller, Benjamin Oberhaus, Nathan Timpe, Abigail Vaculik.


CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati has announced its Dean’s List for the fall semester. Locals on the Dean’s List include:

Berkey: Mackenzie Ball.

Delta: Catalina Harrington, Kevin Kowal.

Swanton: Thomas Cobau, Shawna Siefker.

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University has announced students named to the dean’s list during the fall 2015 semester. Area students who achieved this honor are: Grant Judson and Morgan Judson of Swanton.

To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.
