Village leaders take oath


Swanton Village Council’s first meeting of 2016 was a light one, with recently elected representatives taking center stage. Recently elected village officials, from left, Jeff Pilliod, Ann Roth, and Dianne Westhoven, take the oath of office administered by Alan J. Lehenbauer at last week’s council meeting. Roth was re-elected as mayor, Jeff Pilliod returns to village council and Westhoven was elected to her first term on council. The next council is Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
