State Senator to attend Harding Township meeting



Senator Theresa Gavarone, of District 2, is slated to speak at the Harding Township meeting on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. She will talk about current issues pending in the Senate and would like to hear comments from the community.

Her 133rd General Assembly Committee assignments are Vice Chair of the Higher Education Committee; Education Committee; Government Oversight and Reform Committee; Health, Human Services & Medicaid Committee and the Judiciary Committee.

Senator Gavarone, appointed to the Ohio Senate in February, has been a Wood County resident for over 30 years.

As an attorney, she is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University. Senator Gavarone is also a co-owner, with her husband Jim Gavarone, of Mr. Spots restaurant in Bowling Green.

Harding Township Hall is located at the corner of State Route 295 and Angola Road.

The meeting is open to all.
