SPL plans Halloween fun for kids

The Swanton Public Library has Halloween events planned for kids this month.

Preschool and elementary age kids are invited to the library on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. to celebrate the scariest day of the year. There will be games, pumpkin decorating, and, of course, plenty of candy.

Costumes are welcome, with prizes for the best ones. Those that don’t have a costume can dress up using the library’s new costume collection.

No registration is necessary.

Anyone in grades 5-12 is invited to show up anytime between 4-5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, and celebrate the scariest day of the year. There will be games, pumpkin decorating, “potion” making, and, of course, plenty of candy.

Costumes are welcome, with prizes for the best ones. No registration required.

Both programs are free.
