Swanton High School instructor Joe Nye recently gave table talk sessions and a one-hour presentation at the National Making Schools Work Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. His topics included using Photoshop and iMovie to create presentations in the classroom.

“Enjoyed visiting your classroom all those years, great activities and great students at Swanton High School. Great to see you being a presenter at the Making Schools Work Conference on the National Level,” said John Chaney, former supervisor at Penta Career Center.

Nye just completed his 36th year of teaching and coaching – 17 years at St. John’s High School and 19 years at Swanton High School and Penta Career Center.

The conference was attended by 3,500 teachers and administrators from 42 states. Nye attended the conference with 22 teachers and administrators from Penta Career Center.
