180th plans readiness exercise

The 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard will be conducting a force protection readiness exercise Wednesday.

Retired military, veterans and active service members visiting the 180th FW for military identification cards or personnel services may experience delays when entering or exiting the base, as well as temporary traffic detours when arriving or departing.

Residents immediately surrounding the installation may also experience increased traffic flow and increased noise activity such as variations of sirens, messages from loud speakers throughout the day as wing personnel react to simulated training scenarios.

Readiness training, conducted in realistic environments under realistic circumstances, ensures our forces maintain the highest levels of proficiency and readiness for worldwide deployment.
