The annual 4-H Camp Palmer will be held June 10-14 at 26450 County Road MN, in Fayette.
The camp will enlist 32 counselors, each trained 24 hours in preparing for their duties. Camp programming was developed so that campers will leave feeling more connected to their surroundings and peers, having more self-confidence, showing more responsibility for themselves, exhibiting more creativity, and developing individuality.
Activities will include swimming in the new pool, playing games, fishing, dancing, low and high ropes adventure challenges, minature golf, interacting with Ohio’s native species of reptiles, plants, and birds, performing in Cabin Videos and at campfire, canoeing, camp crafts, shooting sports, and outposting.
4-H Camp is open to youth ages 8-13 as of Jan. 1, 2019, both 4-H and non-4-H members. The fee is $180 for 4-H members and $200 for non-members. Camp registration forms and further information are available at the OSU Extension Office, 8770 State Highway 108, Wauseon, or at fulton.osu.edu.
Registration begins after May 15 for non 4-H members, and registration ends May 31. Camp is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
