Penta offering summer camps

Students currently enrolled in grades 7 through 9 are invited to register for the 2019 STEM Summer Camp at Penta Career Center. The camp takes place June 3-7, from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Penta campus, 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township.

Cost for the camp is $50 and includes a drawstring backpack, t-shirt and lunch each day of camp. Students must provide their own transportation. STEM Summer Camp is designed for students interested in exploring careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Students will participate in activities in the areas of culinary arts, welding, manufacturing, construction carpentry, and construction electricity.

Also this summer, Penta will offer VEX Robotics Camp for students in grades 7 to 12 which takes place June 10-12 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the Penta campus.

Cost of the camp is $50. Lunch is provided each day of camp and students will also receive a VEX t-shirt. Students must provide their own transportation. Students will experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through innovative experiences using VEX robotics kits.

Advanced Robotics Camp will take place June 13-14 for those students who have previously participated in VEX Robotics Camp. Cost is $45. To register for any of the Penta Summer Camps, visit and complete the online registration.

All camps are offered to students who reside in any of Penta’s member school districts which include: Anthony Wayne, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, Northwood, North Baltimore, Oak Harbor, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton, and Woodmore.
