Swancreek Water District meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Swancreek Township Hall, 5565 County Road D. The public is welcome to attend.

Saturday, March 16

Lucas County Chapter of Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, 2001 Perrysburg-Holland Road. In the Forest View building.There will be a presentation by Don Hengen entitled, “Basics of an Autosomal DNA Test and How to Use the Results.” This is an introduction to autosomal DNA and hints on using the results from an Ancestry DNA test.

Swanton Village Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. at the municipal building, 219 Chestnut St. The Public Service and Public Safety committees will meet prior to the regular meeting, beginning at 6 p.m. The public is welcome.

Weekly/Monthly Event

Swanton Garden Club will hold monthly meetings. They will meet the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Call Jan Heyman at 419-206-2047 or Elfrieda Jewell at 419-826-4129 prior to the meeting to find out the location.

Growing through Grief Bereavement Group will meet the fourth Tuesday of every month from 3:30-5 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 N. Main St., Swanton. Conducted by licensed bereavement counselors, the sessions are free and open to anyone in the community who is interested in attending. Pre-registration is required.
